Most of the best nights are private ones. Receptions, introductions and send-offs, milestone birthdays and anniversaries, played by a DJ who has been reading family crowds since 2008.

Music for the family celebrations around the big day, from the traditional moments to the party after.

From an 18th to a 75th: a set built around the guest of honour, their era and their friends.

Garden parties, rooftop dinners and anniversaries, with the volume and the vibe set to the room.

Afro house from the first record to the last: rolling percussion, chants and deep grooves, held between 118 and 120 BPM so every blend runs smooth. Mixed live, start to finish.

A vinyl DJ who moved to digital and kept the craft. Sets are built on tempo and key, read the room, and travel across decades without losing the floor.
House remixes of the songs everyone knows, mixed back to back at 120 to 126 BPM. The crowd sings every word while the beat keeps them dancing. It is how a DJ RPM wedding or birthday ends: the late-night house set, when the floor is at its fullest.
Technics turntables or Rane Twelve MK2 decks, running Serato DJ and VirtualDJ, with video mixing so the crowd sees every record as it drops. Started on vinyl; still mixes on platters.
From family celebrations to the biggest stages in Uganda: opening for Diplo and Major Lazer, Bell Jamz with Tekno and Mr Eazi, Nyege Nyege and the warehouse nights. 90+ dated shows since 2008; these are the headline nights.
Private event · DJ RPM solo set · invitation only
A few nights from the archive. Most weddings and private parties stay off camera, so this is only part of the story.
Two names, two countries, one craft. DJ Rahim on the radio, DJ RPM on the big stages, and now the relaunch.
Behind the decksIt started with vinyl and a radio microphone. By 2008 the station was calling DJ Rahim its number one DJ.
He co-hosted Co-Drive on Sound Asia FM with Ryan Kashmiri, then mixed Saturday nights on East FM and played the party circuit from Nairobi to Eldoret and Kisumu. The Star newspaper profiled his New Year's Eve set, which ran from 80s classics to the newest house.
Around 2011 he crossed the border and became DJ RPM. He played Talent Africa's biggest nights, shared decks with the DJs of Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg, and in 2017 came back from a three-year break to open for Diplo. A year later he played the Major Lazer concert, and in between Bell Jamz with Tekno and Mr Eazi.
With DJ BK he formed #BPM, the duo promoters billed as "the dynamic duo": resident at Under Construction Fridays, Gabz Saturdays and The Thrill, on stage at Nyege Nyege, Blankets & Wine and two France–Uganda Friendship Weeks, and behind the decks for MTN, Castle Lite, Johnnie Walker and the French Embassy.
Then came the house years: warehouse parties and only-house nights with the Deeper and Midnight Tsunami crews. House remixes became his signature. In 2026 the brand relaunches with video mixing and a new mixtape series.

The tagline is literal.
Business by day.
DJ by night.
Off the decks, Rahim owns, runs and directs companies across hospitality, property and retail. He has owned a lounge and a venue that hosted some of the city's best-known weekly parties, and he has managed the business side of the nights he played.
That is why families and planners trust him with their big day: he arrives on time, follows the running order, and understands what the night has to deliver for the people hosting it.

Everything a promoter, venue or journalist needs: bios to copy, press photos, a tech rider and what others have said.
